History

The Engine

In 1932 the founder Mr. Kichisaburo has developed the engine. Mainly it utilizes as agriculture and for engineering works. It is able to use easily, reduce the weight and corresponds the coarse fuel. Lots of engines were exported of course in inland and even in Southeast Asia.

1924

Kichisaburo NISHIJIMA established a motor plant NISHIJIMA TEKKOSHO in Toba, Mie-Prefecture.

1934

Built a new factory in Higuchishita Muro-cho Toyohashi-city, which merged with Toba plant.

1945

Kichisaburo NISHIJIMA passed away on 6th June.

Masao NISHIJIMA succeeded him as factory president.

At the after of World War Ⅱ, resumed production of motors for shipping and agriculture.

Renamed the plant TOYOHASHI KOHGU NISHIJIMA TEKKOSHO.

1957

Began manufacturing Simple purpose heavy-duty lathes NS-1.

1959

Manufactured simple purpose automatic lathes with oil hydraulic and air pressure.

1965

Started our own study of N/C Drilling machine.

Began production of transfer machines and automaticassembling machines.

1975

With the increasing demand for simple purpose machines, imported new machine tools, including large scale ones, were installed in the plant.

1986

Celebrated the completion of the headquarter factory on 6th April.

Introduced large scale CAD/CAM system.

1994

The third set of transfer line to process compressores of air conditioner for car was shipped from Toyohashi port since opening to HCC corp., Korea, that has been dealing with us since 1990. This was first to export machine tool from Toyohashi port.

1995

President Masao NISHIJIMA passed away on 1st March.

Tokushi NISHJIMA succeeded him as factory pesident.

In Selling "High-Cut 100"(High speed and high precision circular saw), and "URWA-series"(automatic ring rolling machines), we made a sales and technical agreement with Profiroll Technologies GmbH, Germany.

1998

TOYOHASHI KOHGU NISHIJIMA TEKKOSHO was renamed and reorganized to NISHIJIMA CORPORATION.

2000

Carbide saw blade cutting machine is completed.

Domestic and international sales started.

2006

Introduced 3D CAD system (I-CAD).
